A visit to the Commonwealth Air Training Plan in Brandon on
Friday of the May long weekend. The weather was pleasant for
the visit and the timing couldn’t have been any better. Just as I
arrived at the museum, they were in the process for getting their
Havard MK II and Cornell ready to depart for an air show that
weekend at Russell, MB.
I had the perfect opportunity to take some photos of these
airplanes and thought you might be interested in seeing them.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have my telephoto lens along since I
didn’t expect to see the airplanes fly. July Schedule

July 17-18 - Tillsonburg, ON. - Canadian Harvard Aircraft
Association, Ingersoll flyover
Visiting the museum was on my “bucket list” for a number of July 22-23 - Windsor, ON. - Canadian Historical Aircraft
years and I was glad to check that of the list. It’s a small Association
museum but the history and seeing the Harvard and Cornell out July 29 - Oshkosh Air Show, WI (USA) EAA AirVenture
of the hanger and flying made the trip and extra treat.
