The National Air Force Museum of Canada (NAFMC) is Saskatoon/Richter Field Aerodrome
proud to announce the completion of our Avro Anson Mk 52°16'49"N 106°41'02"W

talented volunteers and I am highly appreciative of their
outstanding efforts and dedication”.
The Anson was part of the new age for the RCAF, which
until that time had used open-cockpit aircraft with fixed
landing gear. The Anson provided crews with cabin
comfort and retractable undercarriage that was a huge
technological leap from the bi-planes and fixed Airshow 2017
undercarriage that was previously the norm for the RCAF.
