The local community of Ula, while committing their continued support to the monastery,
requested His Eminence Busa Trulku Khentruel Rinpoche to take over and register the
monastery under Dorji Lingpa Foundation.

4. Dorji Lingpa Foundation (Bhutan) Governance Structure

The programs, projects, and operations of the monasteries and monastic schools
registered under the Dorji Lingpa Foundation are majorly managed through the
contributions and sponsors from overseas. Therefore, Dorji Lingpa Foundation have
setup as a strong governance structure to ensure the funds received are very optimally
and prudently managed, with proper resource optimization and cost reductions as much
as possible. Also, proper accounting, procurement and HR management processes,
manuals and rules are made and followed by the foundation.

Following is the overall governance structure of Dorji Lingpa Foundation, and the
foundation Head office to ensure better governance, processes and best practices and
fund management are followed with transparency and accountability:
