The incredible Lhakhang blessed by the extraordinary beings had been into the isolation
               for ages. His eminence
               Busa Trulku Khentrul
               Sonam Gyeltshen had
given his heart and soul to
               revive the age-old
               Lhakhang for which the
               renovation work and
               extension had already
               been started. A nunnery
               has been established and

               It is wished over the year;
one hundred thousand qualified nuns will graduate from the nunnery as blessed by Guru

3.7 Sherling Dorling Monastery and Institute of Indigenous Studies, Sha Khotakha

In 14th century, Terton Dorji Lingpa
               visited Sherling under Rubisa, Sha
               Khotakha, Wangdue Phodrang and had
blessed the entire valley, and later built a
monastery (which ruined structure is seen
even today) in the opposite of the existing
temple. As per the oral documentation, it’s
said that the temple at one time was badly
blazed by the epidemic – fire. Later in 15th
century, the heart re-incarnate of Trulku
               Chogden Gonpo-Dongak Jungney built the
existing temple as a replacement of the
               previously ruined temple.
