1. About Taiwan Dorji Lingpa Buddhist Centre
His Eminence Busa Trulku Khentruel Sonam Gyeltshen Rinpoche, who is recognised as a
true re-incarnation of Dorji Lingpa lineage, and the eleventh (11th) successive lineage
holder of Tshungmed Tashi Tenzin, the heart son of Terchen Dorji Lingpa, visited Taiwan,
Singapore and Hongkong in late 2011.
During his visit, as per earlier destiny
and prayers, Busa Trulku met with
Mrs. Sherry Lin and Mr. Peter
Osborne, and shared his dharma wish
to preserve, protect, promote and
strengthen the teachings, culture,
traditions and lineage of Terchen
Dorji Lingpa, in line with a vision to
bring Buddhist dharma teachings,
ideas and principles to help bring
about a world guided by wisdom and
compassion, for the happiness and
wellbeing of all sentient beings. The connection between His Eminence Busa Trulku, Mr.
Peter and Mrs. Sherry Lin became strong as a dharma family, and Ms. Sherry and Mr. Peter
visited Bhutan, and Busa Wangdue Goenpa Monastery. Since then, Mr. Peter Osborne and
Ms. Sherry Lin have supported His Eminence Busa Trulku Rinpoche and his lineage as his
primary sponsor, patron and supporter, and as a lifelong dharma follower. Through the
connection of Mr. Peter and Mrs. Sherry Lin, the network of sponsors is expanded to
Taiwan, Hongkong, Australia and Singapore.
Accordingly, in 2013 with full support and hard works put in by Ms. Sherry Lin and her
team, Busa Trulku Khentruel Sonam Gyeltshen Rinpoche established Taiwan Dorji Lingpa
Buddhis Center with Ms. Sherry Lin as the Chairman.
The Taiwan Dorji Lingpa Buddhist
Centre serves the dharma learning
and practice of over 100 dedicated
disciples in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
The Centre undertakes a
comprehensive program of
ceremonies, teachings and
activities to support the expansion
of the Dorji Lingpa linage in Taiwan
and the dharma needs of its
dedicated disciples.
Since 2013 the Centre has been the driving force to generate significant financial and
other contributions to support Busa Trulku Rinpoche and the monastic projects and also
the operating expenses of the Dorji Lingpa Foundation in Bhutan.
