Subjective Wellbeing/135
The table depicts the subjective wellbeing of elderly before and after intervention.
The results show the level of wellbeing (11.69± 1.746) and after (23.87± 1.0922)
the intervention. The number of elderly intervened were 49. The standard error
mean before and after the intervention were .249 and .156 respectively.
The subjective wellbeing of the respondents showed an increase of 12.1836 after
the intervention at 95 percent Confidence Interval- CI (12.6835, 11.683). There is
a significant difference after the intervention of elderly. It could be concluded that
the average increase of 12.18367 is due to the intervention and not chance variation.
Therefore it could be stated that the intervention was effective in enhancing
wellbeing in elderly.
