Measurement is essential to good geriatric care. It is a crucial consideration for
those developing, promotion or practicing the project.(Berkman, Sharma, & Kaplan,
2015)The post assessment was conducted to analyse how much they have grown
so far with the help of the age friendly college concept. Post evaluation of subject
wellbeing among elders was conducted after intervention using WHO subjective
wellbeing scale (5 item scale)
Tools of data collection
Socio-demographic questionnaire- The independent variables were assessed
through a six item socio-demographic questionnaire.
Subjective Wellbeing- WHO’s subjective wellbeing scale was used to assess the
subjective well being.
Data analysis
Data analysis was done using SPSS software 18.0 i.e. Statistical Package for
Social Sciences. Descriptive statistical measures such as frequencies, percentages,
mean, standard deviation etc. inferential statistical methods such as paired Samples
test was performed to analyse differences between pre and post-tests with regard
to the study variables at each level of assessment.
