Reflection

The lesson presentation was a success because I was well prepared and it was not the
first time, I was teaching this topic, this made me to go and do a thorough research on

the lesson so that in future I can do a much better work. The learner’s participation level
was very high and that made my presentation to be even more successful as the lesson

required me to engage the learners in the lesson. Tenses are used daily by learners

mostly in their writing and speaking but they may not be aware of the types of tenses and
where they should be used and how. During this lesson I was able to teach learners about

using the right tenses. The only challenges that I had during this lesson was a discipline
on behalf of learners and this cost me a time and at the end I had to rush through the

lesson to conclude on time. I think that in future I could do things differently by creating
some group work and ongoing class activities so that we can minimize me speaking most

of the time and give learners a chance to do some work and learn.
