               and discuss them. Learners will be given opportunity to state why it is important for us to
               use synonyms.


               The teacher will show the following examples:

                   1.  Stupid- ignorant

                   2.  Bad- naughty

                   3.  Wrong- inaccurate
                   4.  Ugly- unattractive

                   5.  Fat- chubby

               The last concept to discuss is antonyms. The teacher will give the learners a proper

               definition of the term. The learners will take notes. The teacher will explain to the learners
               how the use of antonyms helps us improve our vocabulary. He will explain to the learners

               how the use of dictionary can help us to learn as many concepts as possible and apply

               them in our writing.

               The teacher will layout the following examples and will also encourage learners to think

               of their own and share.


                   1.  Huge- tiny
                   2.  Joy- sorrow

                   3.  Neat- untidy

               The teacher will ask the learners to re-call everything they did during the lesson. Learners
               will share. The teacher will summaries all the concepts and give the learners a homework.
