The Chief Justice of the Central Bankruptcy Court has authority to issue the
Regulation to govern the legal proceedings related to the bankruptcy and reorganization

process, as approved by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Coordination between
the bankruptcy court with other courts or with other parties may be conducted via fax,

electronic mails, or any other IT platforms as appropriate. The use of traditional process
as other civil cases may not be efficient since the relevant parties involved in
reorganization proceedings are much larger in number than other civil cases. For

example, witnesses may be interviewed via a video conference as if the proceedings
are conducted in the courtroom. The use of such technologies assists the trial as witnesses

both inside and outside the country can be called upon to give statements. This reduces
the problem of commuting during the pandemic.
