Acknowledgments

I can’t imagine anyone taking on a project like this, specifically writing a book, without the help of
a village. I’ll start with my husband Ernest who just nods and asks, “How much?” Thanks, honey.
Then my daughter Tanisha, who’s been after me to rewrite these books forever. So thanks
               for the push, sweetie.
Suze Allen, my writing coach, helped me get this puppy off the ground. She saw my vision and
               we took off.

I can’t say enough about Karin Fisher-Golton, my editor. She has that kid thing going on. I’m
really, really grateful for her patience, and she too saw my vision.
Thanks to Jo Ann Kairys, my graphic artist, who put life into the book. We decided to do
something different, and it just works. What a visionary.
Thanks to Monica Thomas who designed a great cover.
And then there’s Nick. So let’s get back to patience. Without going into that little adventure,
let’s just say I’m glad he’s still talking to me. A great guy. Thanks, Nick.

And then there’s my family and friends who probably are happy the first book is out, and we
can start talking about something else and book two. Thank you all for being there for me. Yes, I
have a village and I am grateful to all of them.
