SPARES






                   • Scheduled building maintenance requires appropriate and adequate spare parts to



                          replace existing parts on a regular basis.






                   • Management of spare parts is seen as an important criterion to ensure the



                          efficiency of scheduled maintenance.







                   • Quick availability of building maintenance spare parts minimizes the costly lead


                          time to procure them and improves owner satisfaction level.







                   • Spare parts should include following information: warrantee (if applicable), size,



                          color, shape, part number, quantity, shelf life, specialized tools supplied, etc.






                   • BS EN 62550:2017 - Spare parts provisioning












                                             Develop all spares with operator during design stage and in accordance with British Standards / International

                                             Specifications / Manufacturer’s Recommendations.
