   AK Omega Sorors Design and Prep for Pillowcase Dresses

   On October 24, 2018, 10 Alpha Kappa Omega Sorors from the Global Impact committee met at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center to prep and

   design the little pillowcase dresses and little shirts that will be donated to children in Haiti. This ongoing project is a part of Supreme Basileus Dr.
   Glenda Glover Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service initiative under Target V-Global Impact.












  AK Omega Sorors attend Chapter Retreat at Hotel Zaza

  On Saturday, October 20, 2018, Alpha Kappa Omega Sorors attended this year’s Chapter Retreat at Hotel Zaza in the Memorial City area.  This year’s
  theme   “Exemplifying Excellence Through Service & Sisterhood” provided the backdrop for various activities prepared by Chairman Soror Wondy

  Weston and the membership committee.  Sorors listened to words of wisdom from former 18  Supreme Basileus, Soror Mattelia B. Grays and former
  23th Regional Director Soror Gwendolyn Brinkley.  Sorors participated in several workshops on leadership. One sisterly relations workshop titled “Are
  you a Diva, Goddess, and Queen?” helped Sorors bond and build relationships among the Chapter. Sorors enjoyed the Entrepreneurship panel
  featuring Sorors from the Chapter and the business advice given.
