EXCURSIONS AROUND THE UNDISCOVERED LAND
Try out excursions in the still undiscovered land.
Martian canyons, the undiscovered land – this is how
sometimes the impressive Menčiai limestone quarry
and Šaltiškiai clay quarry in Akmenė land are called.
However, it will not be so easy to come and walk
around them. The quarries are a production area in
a private territory; therefore, independent visits to the
site are strictly PROHIBITED! Visits must be arran-
ged in advance and arrivals must be coordinated with
experienced guides.
