The Status of Chiang Mai

The status of Chiang Mai’s populations in understanding of digital literacy is in
intermediate understanding level, which contained skills and ability for communicating
with other people by using digital media and ability to behave in digital society correctly
and properly. Although, it would be better if Chiang Mai’s populations develop digital

literacy related to digital usage safety, knowledge in digital laws, regulations, and
enforcements. In media and information literacy, the populations have intermediate
understanding—including ability to search media and information from different sources

by using digital equipments. Therefore, it would be better if the citizens raise awareness in
creating, valuing, and monitoring media.
