So why did you apply to be a SCIE Ambassador? I applied to be a SCIE
Ambassador because I wanted to network with students who had similar
goals for including diversity at the MCV campus and also to have a
support group.
Do you have any hobbies? I really love baking and I also love crocheting.
I'm currently working on a blanket.
Rebaz Waise
Why did you apply to be a SCIE Ambassador? I decided to apply to the
Ambassador program because in the future as a dentist I'll work with a
diverse group of people and this will help me better serve people. It also
allows me to talk about sensitive issues and grow as a person.
What was the most unusual thing you've ever eaten? The most unusual
thing I've eaten was, over New Year’s Eve, we had caviar for the first time
and it didn't taste very good. It was too salty and kind of gross.
Bryant Wooten
What do you hope to achieve as a SCIE Ambassador? Something that I
hope to achieve is to increase my skill set and my toolbox of things
that I can use to help make MCV a more open and diverse, inclusive
environment for anyone to comes to school here.
What was the last book you read for pleasure? The last book that I
read was The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. It's a psychological
thriller and was really good.
