EL - 64 Electrical system – electrical components

1. Switch off the ignition switch Set the transmission at neutral and start the parking brake
EG 2. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole
3. Dismount the door inner guard plate (refer to “Chapter BW body-interior & exterior trim-door
inner guard plate, replacement”)

4. Remove the right front speaker
AX a. Remove the fixing screws from the right front speaker.

b. Disconnect the plug & socket connector of the right front
speaker and remove the right front speaker.

5. Check right front speaker assembly if there is any failure or damage. Change the right front speaker
assembly if necessary.
6. Install the right front speaker
a. Connect the plug & socket connector of the right front speaker.
b. Put the right front speaker into place and tighten the fixing screws from the right front speaker.
7. Install the door inner guard plate (refer to Chapter BW body-interior & exterior trim-door inner
guard plate, replacement”)
8. Connect the cable of battery negative pole
9. Removal and installation of the left front speaker
Caution
Remove and install the left front speaker in the same ways as removal and installation of the right front
speaker.
