Failure phenomenon Phenomenon description IN

1. Only the maximum air volume gear does not work.

Fan speed regulation abnormal 2. Small, medium and secondary air volume gears do not work.

3. One or two of small, medium and secondary air volume gears does (do) not work. EG
Diagnosis procedure

1. Confirm failures TR

a. Ignition switch: ON.
b. Turn the air volume button to confirm the fault phenomenon. AX
Failure phenomenon 1>go to Step 2.
Failure phenomenon 2>go to Step 3. FR
Failure phenomenon 3>go to Step 4.

2. Check the harness and connectors between blower switch and blower ST

a. Ignition switch:LOCK.
b. Disconnect the connector B036 of fan switch. BR

c. Take a multimeter voltage gear to measure the voltage
BW
between No. 3 terminal of B036 and grounding.
Standard voltage:

EL
Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B036(3)-grounding Storage battery voltage

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>replace the AC controller.
No> Check or replace the open harness between blower switch and blower.

3. Check the harness and connectors between speed regulation resistance and blower

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the connector B056 of speed adjusting resistance.
