c. Take a multimeter voltage gear to measure the voltage
between No. 2 terminal of B056 and grounding.
Standard voltage:
Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B056(2)-grounding Storage battery voltage

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4.
No> Repair or replace the open harness between the speed regulation resistance and the blower.

4. Detect the harness and connectors between air condition controller and speed regulation resistance
a. Ignition switch:LOCK.

b. Disconnect air condition controller connector B036 and speed regulation resistance connector B056.

c. Take a multimeter to measure the resistance between
No.1, 2 and 4 terminals of B036 and No.1, 4 and 3
terminals of B056.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B036(1)-B056(1) About 0Ω
B036(2)-B056(4) About 0Ω

B036(4)-B056(3) About 0Ω

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 5.
No> Repair or replace the open harness between the speed regulation resistance and the air volume
knob.
5. Check the speed regulation resistance

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the connector B056 of speed adjusting resistance.

c. Take a multimeter to measure the resistance between the two terminals of B056.
Check if the result is ok?
Yes> Replace the speed regulation resistance.
No> Replace the air condition controller.
