Diagnosis procedure

1. Check the backlight power circuit of radio
a. Ignition switch:LOCK.

b. Disconnect the connector B043 of radio cassette player
c. Ignition switch: ACC, small light switch on.

d. Take a multimeter voltage gear to measure the voltage
between No. A3 terminal of B043 of radio cassette player
FR
and grounding.
Standard voltage:
ST
Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value
B043(A3)- grounding Storage battery voltage BR

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 2.
NO>repair or replace the harness EL
2. Check the radio cassette player
Caution
If the assembly of radio cassette player is broken, non-professional personnel normally cannot timely
and precisely check and test it. At present often using the substitution judgment method for service
a. Replace with a new or normal radio cassette player
b. Connect the circuit, restart the radio cassette player and check if the failure is fixed.
Caution
The radio cassette player for replacement must be the same specification as previously used
Is the test result ok?
Yes>repair or replace the radio cassette player
Caution
It requires professional personnel to perform service for the inside of radio cassette player.
Non-professional personnel shall not dismount.
NO>retest the above steps
