DI - 292 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts

3. Check the power circuit of front left door lamp switch.

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the connector G004 of front left door lamp switch.
c. Ignition switch: ON, place the room roof lamp switch at "DOOR" position.

d. Measure the voltage between the left front door lamp
switch connector G004 terminal 1 and the ground with the
multimeter in voltage gear.
Standard voltage:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

G004(1)- grounding Storage battery voltage

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4.

NO>repair or replace the open harness.
4. Replace the front roof lamp subassembly.

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the connector E005 of left front top lamp.
c. Replace with same size of front roof lamp subassembly, place the ignition switch at "ON" position,
check whether the fault still exists.
Check if the result is ok?

Yes > eliminate fault based on other phenomena.
No > repair or replace the front roof lamp subassembly.
