BCM body control module fails to work. IN

Caution
● The fault symptom of complete vehicle control system is that its control system cannot work. EG
● The components under the control of by body controller include wiper, washer, turn signal lamp, rear
fog lamp, brake lamp, high and low beam lamp and hazard warning lamp. TR

Diagnosis procedure
1. Read the fault code. AX

a. Connect the diagnostic apparatus, ignition switch: ON.
b. Use the diagnostic apparatus to read BCM fault code. FR
Check whether the diagnostic apparatus has BCM fault code

Yes>go to Step 2. ST
No > Check whether other systems operate normally.
2. Check the fuse BR

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.

b. Uncover the dashboard fuse box.

c. Remove BCM2 fuse F28(10A).
Caution EL
Dismount the fuse with a special fuse remover. Do not pull it out directly with hands, which may
damage the fuse.

d. Check the middle fuse of BCM2 F28 (10A) is broken

Disconnect Normal

Check if the fuse is broken
Yes>replace with the same spec fuse.
NO>go to Step 3.
