Basic inspection IN
1. Check the complete vehicle control module.

a. Check Whether BCM connector is connected firmly or damaged and whether the body controller BCM is DI
distorted or damaged. Otherwise, replace the body controller BCM or connect the connector.
b. Check whether the relevant control unit or switch connector of body controller BCM is connected reliably EG
to ensure their connectivity, such as illumination and other systems.

c. For the fault of the system under the control of body controller, check and eliminate other fault reason,

determine whether the fault occurs on the body controller module, replace BCM module.

2. Check the complete vehicle control module by diagnostic apparatus.

a. Connect a diagnostic apparatus, read the fault code of BCM complete vehicle control module.

b. Use the diagnostic apparatus to check whether BCM complete vehicle control system functions normally.

For example, turn on or off the high and low beam lamp, turn on the turn signal lamp, etc.

c. Check whether the state data flow of each control switch and control unit controlled by BCM is normal.

Caution

If the inspection switch and control unit are abnormal, check and repair the relevant system circuit.
