Fault of complete vehicle control system
Overview
The complete vehicle control module (BCM) is used to control the operation of electrical unit on vehicle. In
addition to the control of various electrical units, BCM can also read the motion signal of combination switch
to know the operating condition of combination switch (illumination, wiper, cleanser and steering signal).
Meanwhile, it can also receive the signal from integrated instrument and A/C amplifier and transmit signal to
engine ECU via CAN communication.
Precautions
1. Whether the engine operates or not, so long as the ignition switch is connected, any system
component is forbidden to be connected: any battery cable, fuel injector, high-pressure oil pump,
engine ECU circuit, etc.
