DI - 378 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 3.
NO>repair or replace the power supply harness.
3. Check the charging indicator lamp signal circuit for open circuit
a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the connector B014 of combination instrument.
c. Disconnect the generator L-wiring terminal F030.
d. Ignition switch: ON.
e. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between 6#
terminal of B014 and 1# terminal of generator L wiring
terminal F030.
Standard resistance:
Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value
B014(6)-F030(1) About 0Ω
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4.
No > repair or replace the charging indicator lamp circuit.
4. Check the generator
a. Replace with same size of generator, check whether the fault still exists.
Is the test result ok?
Yes>Replace the combination instrument.
No>Replace the generator.
