Exhaust system
Exhaust system
Overview
1. The function of the exhaust system is: to ensure the best performance engine, and exhaust all the
engine exhaust safely away from the engine and quietly discharge into the atmosphere.
2. Exhaust system consists of exhaust manifold, supercharger assembly, exhaust pipe and muffler
assembly.
3. Exhaust manifold is an important component to collect the exhaust gas from each cylinder together
and discharge outside the car.
4. The function of the muffler is to gradually reduce the exhaust pressure, attenuate the exhaust
pressure pulsation, and reduce the exhaust noise.
5. The principle of the muffler is that when the sound wave propagates in the porous sound absorbing
material, due to friction, the sound energy is converted to heat energy and consumed, so as to achieve
the purpose of noise elimination.
