Engine oil pressure sensor
Overview

The oil pressure sensor has diaphragms and contacts acting due to oil pressure function inside it. When its oil
pressure is below its specified value, the diaphragm has no acting force to push the spring, its contact will be
closed, and the combination instrument indicator lamp will go on; when its oil pressure is above its specified
value, the diaphragm will push up the spring, its contact will be separated, and its indicator lamp will go out.
At this time, the driver shall know that its oil pressure has reached the specified value. Under normal
condition, the contact action pressure is at 30~50kPa
Change
1. Switch off the ignition switch
2. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole
3. Flip over the cab to the front

4. Disassemble the oil pressure sensor

a. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor connector.

b. Disassemble the oil pressure sensor.
Caution
Clean the installation surface after dismounting to
ensure no grease dirty

5. Install the oil pressure sensor

a. Install the oil pressure sensor to the seat hole and tighten the oil pressure sensor.
Torque: 17~23N•m

b. Connect the oil pressure sensor connector.
6. Put the cab back

7. Connect the battery cable
8. Inspect after installation

Start the vehicle and check for oil leakage at the oil pressure sensor
