Fuel pressure sensor IN
Overview
1. Fuel pressure sensor is integrated inside the common rail pipe. Fuel pressure sensor provide the DI
transient common-rail fuel pressure for ECM to realize the closed loop control of ECM for common rail
pressure. When the common rail exceeds the maximum pressure which can be undertaken by the EG
common rail pipe, the rail pressure limit valve will open automatically to reduce the common rail
pressure to ensure the safety.
TR
2. The rail fuel pressure sensor is a varistor-type sensor. The fuel flows to the fuel pressure sensor
through a small hole of its common rail, and the pressurized fuel reaches the sensor diaphragm through
a blind hole. A sensor part which converts the pressure signal to electric signal is installed on the AX
diaphragm. The signal produced by the sensor is transferred to the input signal processing unit and sent
to the testing loop of ECU. FR

Warning ST
• Do not dismount the fuel pressure sensor by yourself. There is leakage danger. Get the professional
service personnel to dismount it.
BR
• The rail pressure sensor shall be fixed via a hexagonal face as per the special torque, usually delivered
with the fuel rail together, and the sensor shall not be privately replaced. Avoid bumping the sensor BW
interface when installing the oil rail.
• Relieve pressure before disassembling the fuel pressure sensor.
EL
1. Switch off the ignition switch
2. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole
3. Flip over the cab to the front
4. Remove rail pressure position sensor
a. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.
b. Remove the fuel pressure sensor.
Caution
• After disassembly, clean the mounting surface to
ensure it is free of grease.
• The disassembled rail pressure shall be sealed to
prevent contamination with dust.
