Intake manifold temperature and pressure sensor
Overview
Intake manifold temperature and pressure sensor is to combine the functions of the absolute pressure sensor of
intake manifold and the absolute temperature sensor of intake manifold into a same sensor, which is installed
on the intake manifold for measuring absolute pressure and temperature of air in the intake manifold. Play the
role of intake flow calculation, booster protection, smoking restriction, intake temperature overheating
protection. Intake temperature/pressure sensor failures include: power not sufficient, speed limited, high oil
consumption, etc.
Change
1. Switch off the ignition switch
2. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole
3. Flip over the cab to the front
4. Remove intake manifold temperature and pressure
sensor
a. Disconnect intake manifold temperature pressure sensor
connector.
b. Remove intake manifold temperature and pressure sensor
fixing bolts.
c. Remove intake manifold temperature and pressure sensor.
Caution
After disassembly, clean the mounting surface.
5. Install intake manifold temperature and pressure sensor
a. Tighten the intake manifold temperature and pressure sensor fixing bolts.
Torque: 7~9N•m
b. Connect intake manifold temperature and pressure sensor connector.
Caution
Install it by pressing it in. Do not knock the sensor into the installation hole by any impacting tool (such
as hammer, etc.)
6. Put the cab back
7. Connect the cable of battery negative pole
