TR-14 Transmission and Control Mechanism - Clutch
Clutch oil reservoir
Oil discharging
Caution
Oil draining operation is required when disassembling the clutch master cylinder, clutch slave
cylinder, and clutch piping, or when the clutch oil is too dirty due to a long time service.
1. Discharge the clutch oil
a. Disengage the vent screw boot on the clutch slave
cylinder.
b. Loosen the vent screw of clutch slave cylinder slightly,
attach the clear hose to the head of vent screw, and place
the other end of the hose into a clear container.
c. Loosen the vent screw of clutch slave cylinder
completely.
d. Enter the cab and depress the clutch pedal repeatedly
until there is no oil flowing out from the clear hose.
Caution
For better cleaning of the clutch piping, fill the clutch
reservoir with new clutch oil and drain again
to ensure all debris is removed.
