62-144 DIAGNOSIS-POWER DOOR LOCK

Diagnosis Procedure

1. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the
vehicle diagnostic device to the diagnose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and
clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step2.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the connector plugs of the central lock and the
body controller harness are loosen and eroded.

2. Check the control circuit of the central lock

(a). Disconnect the connector J10 of the central locking switch.

(b). Measure the resistance between the
grounding and the No.2 pin of the
connector J10 on the central locking switch
with the multimeter.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

switch OFF Grounding

Open the
central lock J10 (2) - Infinite
switch ON Grounding
