DIAGNOSIS-COMBINATION METER 62-423

Diagnosis Procedure

• Ignition switch:"ON"，this indicator lamp turns on.
• After the engine is started, this indicator lamp turns off.
• When the oil pressure ≤ 60kPa, this indicator lamp turns on.
• When the oil pressure ＞ 60kPa, this indicator lamp turns off. 62
NOTICE:
If after the engine is started, this indicator lamp continues to turn on, the engine shall
be stopped immediately. Check the oil level,if the oil level is abnormal, this fault shall be
eliminated firstly.

1. Read fault code by diagnostic device

(a). Connect the diagnostic device, read the
fault code, check whether there is a fault
code output in combination meter system
and engine system.

Does the system have CAN communication fault?
Yes>The system has CAN communication fault, go to Step 6.
No >The system does not have CAN communication fault, go to Step 2.

2. Perform active test with diagnostic device

(a). Enter the instrument system, perform the action test, check whether the "Low Oil
Pressure Warning Lamp" works well.

System is successful?
Yes>The active test of oil pressure indicator lamp is successful, go to Step 3.
No >The active test of oil pressure indicator lamp is not successful, go to Step 7.
