3. Check oil pressure switch

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Check whether there is oil leak around oil
pressure switch.
(c). Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector
E05.
(d). Ignition switch: "ON", check whether the oil
pressure indicator lamp turns "OFF".
(e). Measure the resistance between the
grounding and the No.1 pin of oil pressure
switch by multimeter.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
E05 (1) - Grounding ＜ 2Ω
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Replace the oil pressure switch.

4. Check the open circuit of oil pressure indicator lamp signal circuit

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the oil pressure switch E05
connector.

(c). Ignition switch:"ON".
(d). Measure the voltage between the
grounding and the No.1 pin of oil pressure
switch E05 connector by multimeter.
Standard voltage:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

E05 (1) - Grounding Battery volt
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step5.
No >Check the open circuit between No.1 pin of oil pressure switch E05 and No.37 pin of
engine ECU connector E01.
