5. Check the short circuit of oil pressure indicator lamp signal circuit

(a). Measure the resistance between the
grounding and the No.1 pin of oil pressure
switch E05 connector by multimeter.
Standard voltage: 62
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

E05 (1) - Grounding ＞ 1 MΩ

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step6.
No >Check the short circuit to ground between No.1 pin of oil pressure switch E05 and
No.37 pin of engine ECU connector E01.

6. Check CAN communication line

(a). Disconnect engine ECU connector A11,
turn ignition switch "ON",check the voltage
between the grounding and No.14 & No.15
pin of A11.
Standard voltage:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A11 (14) - Grounding 2.5V~5V
A11 (15) - Grounding 0V~2.5V

(b). Disconnect the battery negative cable, check the resistance between No.14 and
No.15 pin of A11.
Standard resistance: 60Ω
(c). Disconnect combination meter connector, check the continuity between No.14 pin
of engine ECU connector A11 and No.16 pin of combination meter connector C23,
and the continuity between No.15 pin of A11 and No.15 pin of combination meter
connector C23.

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step7.
No >Check whether CAN communication terminal resistance A42 is intact, and repair the
corresponding CAN communication harness open circuit fault.
