62-442 DIAGNOSIS-COMBINATION METER

Diagnosis Procedure

• Ignition switch:"ON".
• The driver side safety belt indicator lamp shall turn on.
• Insert the safety belt into safety belt buckle, the driver side safety belt indicator lamp shall
turn off.

1. Check the short circuit of driver side safety belt indicator lamp signal circuit

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the driver side safety belt warning switch D07 connector.
(c). Ignition switch:"ON".

Check whether the driver side safety belt indicator lamp turns off?
Yes>Replace the driver side safety belt warning switch.
No >To Step 2.

2. Check the short circuit of driver side safety belt indicator lamp signal circuit

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Disconnect the combination meter B01
connector.。

(c). Measure the resistance between No.1 pin
of driver side safety belt warning switch
D07 connector and the grounding by
multimeter.
Standard resistance：
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

D07 (1) - Grounding ＞ 1 MΩ
