3. Check brake fault warning lamp signal circuit

(a). Measure the voltage between No.1 pin of
hand brake switch D10 and the grounding
by multimeter.
Standard voltage: 62
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

D10 (1) - Grounding Battery volt

Is the result normal?
Yes>Replace hand brake switch.
No >To Step 3.

3. Check hand brake switch circuit

(a). Disconnect combination meter connector C23.

(b). Use multimeter to measure the resistance
between No.29 pin of combination meter
C23 connector and No.1 pin of hand brake
switch connector D10.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C23 (29) - D10 (1) ≤ 2 Ω
Is the result normal?
Yes>Replace combination meter assembly.
No >Repair the open circuit between No.29 pin of combination meter C23 connector and
No.1 pin of hand brake switch connector D10.

4. Check brake fluid level warning switch circuit

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the brake fluid level warning switch connector A18.
(c). Ignition switch:"ON".

Check whether the brake fault warning lamp turns off?
Yes>Replace the brake fluid level warning switch.
No >To Step 5.
