DIAGNOSIS-COMBINATION METER 62-443
(d). Measure the voltage between No.1 pin of
driver side safety belt warning switch D07
connector and the grounding by multimeter.
Standard resistance:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter 62
D07 (1) - Grounding 0V
Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step3.
No >Repair the short circuit to power supply and ground condition between No.1 pin of
driver side safety belt warning switch D07 connector and No.6 pin of combination
meter C23 connector.
3. Check the open circuit of driver side safety belt indicator lamp signal and ground
circuit
(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the driver side safety belt
warning switch D07 connector.
(c). Ignition switch:"ON".
(d). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between No.1 and No.2 pin of driver side
safety belt warning switch D07 connector,
and the voltage between No.1 pin and the
grounding.
Standard voltage:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
D07(1) - D07(2)
Battery volt
D07 (1) - Grounding
Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>Replace the driver side safety belt warning switch.
No >No battery voltage is detected, go to Step 4. If there is no battery voltage only
between No.1 and No.2 pin of driver side safety belt warning switch D07 connector,
repair the open circuit between No.2 pin of driver side safety belt warning switch D07
connector and the grounding.
