62-448 DIAGNOSIS-COMBINATION METER

NOTICE:
The brake fluid level warning switch can not be replaced alone. The oil cup assembly shall
be replaced.

5. Check brake fluid level warning switch signal circuit

(a). Measure the voltage between No.1 pin of
brake fluid level warning switch A18
and the grounding by multimeter.
Standard voltage:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
A18(1) - Grounding Battery volt

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step6.
No >To step7.

6. Check short circuit of brake fluid level warning switch circuit

(a). Use multimeter to measure the resistance
between No.2 pin of brake fluid level
warning switch A18 and the grounding.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A18 (2)-Grounding ≤ 2 Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes>Replace the brake fluid level warning switch.
No >To Step 7.

7. Check brake fluid level warning switch circuit

(a). Disconnect combination meter connector C23.
