DIAGNOSIS-ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM 62-547
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step3.
No > Make sure the sensor is well connected. If the connection is normal, replace the
coolant temperature sensor.
3. Check the power circuit of coolant temperature sensor 62
(a). Ignition switch:ON。
(b). Measure the voltage between pin1 and
ground from the back of the coolant
temperature sensor connectorE18 .
Standard voltage:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
E18(1)-Grounding Approx 5V
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.
No > Repair or replace the wiring harness of coolant temperature sensor power.
4. Check the ground circuit of coolant temperature sensor
(a). Ignition switch:LOCK。
(b). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c). Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor connectorE18andthe ECUconnectorE01
respectively.
(d). Measure the resistance between the
coolant temperature sensor connector E18
pin2 and the ECUconnector E01 pin 57 .
Standard resistance:
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
E18(2)-E01(57) Approx 0Ω
Is the inspection result normal?
