(d). Measure the resistance between the
electronic throttle position sensor E23 pin2
and the ECU connector E01 pin12 .
Standard resistance:

Connect the pin by Standard value 62
multimeter
E23(6)-E01(44) Approx 0Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 3.
No > Repair or replace the ground harness of electronic throttle position sensor.

3. Check the signal circuit of electronic throttle position sensor.

(a). Ignition switch: LOCK .
(b). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c). Disconnect the connector E23 of electronic throttle position sensor andconnector
E01 of the ECU respectively.

(d). Measure the resistance between the
electronic throttle position sensor E23 pin2
and the ECU connector E01 pin12 .
Standard resistance:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

E23(2)-E01(12) Approx 0Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.
No > Repair or replace the ground harness of electronic throttle position sensor.

4. Check the signal circuit of electronic throttle position sensor

(a). Ignition switch: LOCK .
(b). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c). Disconnect the connectorE23of electronic throttle position sensor
andconnectorE01of the ECUrespectively.
