(d). Measure the resistance between the knock
sensor connector E19 pin 2 and the ECU
connector E01 pin 10 .
Standard resistance:

Connect the pin by Standard value 62
multimeter
E19(2)-E01(10) Approx 0Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 3.
No > Repair or replace the wiring harness of knock sensor.

3. Check the power circuit of knock sensor

(a). Ignition switch: LOCK .
(b). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c). Disconnect the knock sensor connectorE19andthe ECUconnectorE01 respectively.

(d). Measure the resistance between the knock
sensor connector E19 pin2 and the ECU
connector E01 pin10 .
Standard resistance:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

E19(1)-E01(25) Approx 0Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.
No > Repair or replace the power harness of knock sensor.

4. Replace ECU

(a). Replace the engine ECU.
(b). Using the diagnostic tool performs theDTCconfirmation procedure.
(c). Perform the step of reading the sensor data stream.
(d). Verify no DTC and the normal of data.
