(d). Measure the resistance between the
crankshaft position sensor E22 pin2 and
the ECU connector E01 pin23 .
Standard resistance:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
E22(2)-E01(23) Approx 0Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 3.
No > Repair or replace the signal wiring harness of crankshaft position sensor.

3. Check the power circuit of crankshaft position sensor

(a). Ignition switch: LOCK .
(b). Connect the diagnostic device.
(c). Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector E22.
(d). Ignition switch:ON。

(e). Measure the voltage between the
crankshaft position sensor E22 pin1 and
the ground. Repair or replace the power
source wiring harness of crankshaft
position sensor.
Standard voltage:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

E22(1)-Grounding Approx 5V

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.
No > Repair or replace the power wiring harness of crankshaft position sensor.

4. Check the ground circuit crankshaft position sensor

(a). Ignition switch: LOCK .
(b). Connect the diagnostic device.
(c). Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector E22.
