DRIVER AIRBAG

REPLACEMENT
1 . Precaution. (Refer to “Chapter 62. Supplemental restraint system - supplemental

restraint system, precaution”)
2 . Disconnect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20. Start & charge - battery,
62
replacement")
3 . Disconnect battery positive cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20. Start & charge - battery,
replacement")

4 . Remove the driver airbag assembly.
(a) Turn the steering wheel so that the front
wheels point straight forward.

(b) Use an allen wrench to unscrew 2 hex bolts
at the bottom of the steering wheel, on both
sides.

(c) Remove the driver airbag assembly.
