• Never randomly dispose any driver airbag assembly with an undeployed airbag.
• The deployment of an airbag creates loud sound of explosion. So be sure to
perform the operation outdoor without disturbing nearby residents.

1 . Precausion on Airbag Deployment.
(a) When deploying the airbag, be sure to use
the specified tool and stay away from
electromagnetic radiation.

(b) When deploying the airbag, stay at least 10
meters away from the driver airbag assembly.
(c) The airbag will become very hot once
depoyed. Therefore, leave it for at least 30
minutes before proceeding.
(d) Wear gloves and safety goggles when
handling a deployed airbag.
(e) Do not pour water to a driver airbag assembly
with an deployed airbag.
(f) Be sure to wash your hands with water after
the operation.

WARNING
When dealing with the driver airbag assembly, deploy the airbag subject to the following
steps.

2 . Self-check tool functions.
(a) Prepare a battery as the power supply of
airbag deployment.
(b) Connect the tool to the battery.

NOTICE
The connector in yellow is for the airbag.
