WIRING - SYSTEM CIRCUIT DIAGRAM 71-125

                   Description:

                   • When the ignition switch is ON/ST, the current passes through fuse F32 in the
instrument panel fuse box to pin 5 of the combination switch so as to supply power.
When the circuit outputs from the battery via fuse F8 of the engine compartment
                         and passes through pin 1 & 2 of front wiper high-speed relay R11 and pin 2 & 1of

low-speed relay R10, Separately to the body control module pins D24、D23 the
                         front wiper assembly is powered.
                   • LO position of front wiper switch
When the front wiper switch is in high-speed position, pin 8 of the combination
switch is grounded and pin 7 outputs signals to pin D3 of BCM C035 in order to
provide a high-speed signal. When the current flows from pin D24 of BCM C035
to pin 2 of front wiper high-speed relay R10 and passes through the coil of relay
R10, a magnetic field is produced and the contact is closed. When the current
                                                                                                                     71
passes through the contact of relay R10 to pin 3 of the front wiper assembly and
is grounded at pin 4 of the assembly, the front wiper assembly operates at a high
                         speed.

                   • HI position of front wiper switch
When the front wiper switch is in low-speed position, pin 8 of the combination switch
is grounded and pin 9 outputs signals to pin D2 of BCM C035 in order to provide
a low-speed signal. When the current flows from pin D23 of BCM C035 to pin 2 of
front wiper low-speed relay R11 and passes through the coil of relay R11, a
magnetic field is produced and the contact is closed. When the current passes
through the contact of relay R11 to pin 5 of the front wiper assembly and is grounded
at pin 4 of the front wiper motor, the front wiper assembly operates at a low speed.

                   • Washing position of front wiper switch
When the front wiper switch is in washing position, the current inputs from pin 4 of
the combination switch via pin 5 and outputs to pin 2 of the front washer motor in
order to activate the motor. Meanwhile, the current flows from pin 5 of the
combination switch to pin E26 of BCM C036 to provide signals for the front wiper.
