(f) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 2, 3 of crankshaft position
sensor connector E02 and ground
respectively.

E02（2）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ
E02（3）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 5.
No > Maintain or replace the harness.
5 . Check power supply circuit for camshaft position sensor
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Disconnect connector E03 of camshaft position sensor.
(d) Connect the battery negative cable.
(e) Ignition switch: ON.
(f) Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the pin 1 of camshaft position sensor
connector E03 and the ground
Standard voltage
Multimeter connection
Standard value
pin
E03（1）- ground 4.75～5.25 V
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 6.
No > Maintain or replace the harness.
6 . Check camshaft position sensor harness
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
