ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM - CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR 11-35

REPLACEMENT 11

CAUTION

• Crankshaft position sensor is installed next to the crankshaft belt pulley.

1 . Switch off the ignition.
2 . Open the engine hood.
3 . Disconnect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20 Starting and Charging
- battery, replacement ")
4 . Raise the vehicle.

5 . Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor
connector.

6 . Screw out the crankshaft position senor
fixing bolts, and take down the crankshaft
position senor.
CAUTION

• After removal, clean the surface and
ensure it is free of dirt.
