(b) Disconnect the connector E09 of engine
coolant temperature sensor.
(c) Ignition Switch: ON.

(e) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between pin A of connector E09 of engine
coolant temperature sensor and pin 43 of
E01 connector E09 of engine control module.
Standard electrical resistance (check
whether there existent an open circuit)

Check whether the result is normal?
Yes> go to step 5
No>Repair the open circuit between pin 43 of connector E01 of combination instrument
and pin A of connector E09 of engine coolant temperature sensor.

5 . Check the ground of engine coolant temperature sensor.
