George Shepperson Special Memorial Edition

A special, supplementary issue of this Journal will be published
in electronic form as a tribute to

Professor Emeritus George Shepperson, C.B.E.
1921 – 2020
Academic, Soldier, Poet.

Recognised internationally as one of the foremost Africanists and, most
notably, Malawianists of his generation, a hyperlink will be published in the
next issue of this Journal to enable access to a special George Shepperson
Memorial Edition. This will include contributions by key members from
amongst the many in academia and elsewhere whose lives George
Shepperson touched and thereby enhanced. He was an unfailing friend and
staunch supporter of the Society of Malaŵi for over 50 years. A limited print-
run of this tribute is planned be published subsequently; details will follow.
