Continue making turns
until you have at least
12, or about three times
wrap and tucK Knots seizing desired. On the

last turn, only wrap
the cord around one
section of the rope and
bring the working end
up between the two

Tuck the working end
down through the loop,
around the back and
up between the two
sections of the rope
once more to form a
tight binding.

Repeat this once more –
these are called ‘frapping
turns’. Next, tuck the
working end down
through the middle of
the two frapping turns,
taking it from the top
to the bottom as shown
here.
